AI Work Assistant Chatbot Genie Also Integrated

GS25, a convenience store operated by GS Retail, announced on the 21st that it has partnered with the startup AlbaCheck to launch a smart work support application called ‘GeunmuJung25’.
GeunmuJung25 is a system that allows overall convenience store operations to be managed through a smartphone app, including setting time-based task checklists, real-time handover report creation, automatic alerts for urgent notices, and product expiration date management. It digitizes the existing work methods, which were conducted through verbal instructions and handwritten work logs, to maximize work efficiency at franchise stores operating under a single-person work system and shift work by time slots.
GS25 conducted a pilot operation for about six months targeting 130 franchise stores run by owners ranging in age from their 20s to 60s, adding features specialized for convenience store work efficiency. The GeunmuJung25 app was optimized with a focus on actual users. AlbaCheck is responsible for technical support and operation management of the GeunmuJung25 app.
The GeunmuJung25 app also integrates an AI-based work manual called ‘Chatbot Genie.’ Chatbot Genie is a service that allows workers to directly ask and receive real-time answers to possible inquiries during work, from simple questions about convenience store products and services to how to respond in emergency situations. Currently, about 50,000 franchise owners and workers nationwide are using it.
GS25 expects that the smart work support system, including the GeunmuJung25 app and Chatbot Genie service, will greatly help improve work efficiency at franchise stores and reduce the operational burden on franchise owners.
