On the 13th, the KU-IPP Project Group at Gyeongnam National University held the '2020 2nd Semester Matching Day' event on the 1st floor Peace Hall and lobby of the Creative Hall to connect companies and students participating in long-term field internships, and took a commemorative photo.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The KU-IPP Project Group at Gyeongnam National University announced on the 18th that it held the ‘2020 Fall Semester Matching Day’ event connecting companies and students participating in long-term field training at the Peace Hall and lobby on the first floor of the Changjo Building.
This event was organized to introduce the ‘KU-IPP Project’ to third- and fourth-year students, provide companies with opportunities to select excellent interns, and offer students information on company recruitment and internship opportunities.
At the Matching Day, 20 companies participated, including Samyoung Mitech, Mirae Tech, Seoul Inspection, Taekwang MNS, Wonjin MNT, iSpec, Korea Land and Housing Corporation Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, Gyeongnam Newspaper, Geumhwa Tech, Gyeongnam Industrial Technology Promotion Corporation, and Daemyung Industrial Technology, making the event a great success.
In particular, along with an introduction to long-term field training, presentations were given by companies that have actually accepted IPP long-term interns and by students, providing a valuable time to exchange experiences and information mutually.
Professor Kim Hoo-jin, head of the Gyeongnam National University KU-IPP Project Group Joint Training Center, stated, “Through the long-term field training Matching Day, Gyeongnam National University will contribute to revitalizing industry-academia cooperation within the university and actively strive to resolve manpower supply mismatches between industrial sites, leading to employment activation.”
