[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Comedian Park Seong-gwang and Lee Sol-i are getting married today (15th).
The couple will hold their wedding ceremony at a location in Seoul on the 15th. The wedding will be held privately with family and close relatives in attendance.
Previously, the couple had planned to hold the wedding on May 2nd, but due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19, they postponed it to August 15th, which is Park Seong-gwang's birthday.
Lee Sol-i shared her thoughts ahead of the wedding on Instagram on the 12th.
She said, "Starting with the wedding photoshoot in January 2020, there were two wedding photoshoots and one wedding postponement. Every important day was accompanied by rain and wind, and although rain is still forecasted for the upcoming wedding, upon reflection, I am grateful that despite COVID-19, the rainy season, and typhoons, we have steadfastly loved and cherished each other and have been able to overcome major decisions and hardships safely."
She continued, "We are still together, will love each other more, and just as the ground hardens after the rain, I hope we become stronger too." Through this post, she also shared photos of the couple during their wedding photoshoot.
The couple, Park Seong-gwang and Lee Sol-i, have known each other for a long time as acquaintances and have been in a serious relationship since around last fall. They have already completed their marriage registration.
Meanwhile, the two are currently appearing together on SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny."
