[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) is operating the ‘Deugandeme Maker One-Day Class’ for local entrepreneurs at the Dongdaemun-gu Social Economy Support Center (hereafter ‘Dongsagyeong Center’).
The district announced that the Deugandeme Maker One-Day Class will be held at the Dongsagyeong Center to support product development and promotion for local entrepreneurs who have completed the DDM Maker Growth Support Program.
Established in 2018, the Dongsagyeong Center, a social economy support organization, provides practical entrepreneurship education to small-scale local entrepreneurs through the DDM Maker Growth Support Program.
The DDM Maker Growth Support Program supports capacity-building activities such as education, pilot sales, and market expansion for entrepreneurs with talents in tangible and intangible making fields.
The Deugandeme Maker One-Day Class, conducted by the Dongsagyeong Center this time, aims to improve product quality by collecting residents’ free opinions through experiential lectures where residents directly make products of local entrepreneurs, and to secure market competitiveness for small-scale entrepreneurs.
The Deugandeme Maker One-Day Class will be held from the 18th to September 5th, covering ▲leather crafts ▲hanbok ▲floriculture ▲knitting, and registration is available through Naver Reservation.
You Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, “I hope the Deugandeme Maker One-Day Class becomes an active communication channel between local entrepreneurs and residents,” and added, “We will do our best to provide a customized entrepreneurship support course that considers the characteristics of small-scale local entrepreneurs.”
