[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jeong-ho] Actors Han Hyo-joo and Lee Beom-soo appeared as guides on 'Seoul Village Boy.'
In the 5th episode of 'Seoul Village Boy,' which aired on tvN on the afternoon of the 9th, the cast was shown heading to Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do.
On that day, Lee Beom-soo appeared wearing a Cheongju T-shirt he made himself. Han Hyo-joo and Lee Beom-soo continued their talk about Cheongju.
Lee Seung-gi said, "The Cheongju I remember had quite a few fields." Lee Beom-soo, who was beside him, made everyone laugh by saying, "There are fields next to every city."
Additionally, Lee Beom-soo recalled, "There were no acting academies here, so back then, I used to go to Seoul." Han Hyo-joo empathized, saying, "I also went all the way to Yeouido every week to attend acting classes." Lee Beom-soo then reminisced, "Hyo-joo searched on the internet, but I used to look at the 'TV Guide.'"
Later, Lee Beom-soo brought 'Seoul Village Boy' to a 50-year-old Seolleongtang restaurant filled with memories of his parents. Knowing that the owner of the Seolleongtang restaurant was his old schoolmate, he even sang their school anthem, reminiscing about old times.
At the Seolleongtang restaurant, the second popular battle took place, following the previous Busan episode. Han Hyo-joo showed off her youthful appearance with passion, even changing her hairstyle depending on the age group of Cheongju citizens who came to get her autograph.
During the autograph session between Seoul Village Boy and the Cheongju locals, with Seolleongtang at stake, the opinions of ten Cheongju citizens were evenly split 5 to 5. In the end, everyone got to taste the Seolleongtang filled with Lee Beom-soo's memories.
Meanwhile, Seoul Village Boy airs every Sunday at 10:50 PM.
