[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Rep. Lee Won-wook of the Democratic Party of Korea criticized former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon, who has been continuing his critical remarks about President Moon Jae-in, saying, "I am reminded of the sharp remark by the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, 'Don't humans babble thoughtlessly as well?'"

On the morning of the 9th, Rep. Lee wrote on his Facebook, "Former professor Jin wrote about when he was first taken aback by President Moon. Seeing him reveal the reasons why he came to dislike President Moon, I think he must really dislike him."

He added, "What he revealed was that his own colors are the rainbow colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet," and pointed out, "Seeing former professor Jin's color theory reminds me of the famous song from the movie The Wizard of Oz, 'Over the Rainbow.' Instead of revealing in detail why he dislikes a particular person, how about talking again about the hope that the rainbow colors represent?"

He continued, "Suddenly, the Scarecrow's sharp remark from The Wizard of Oz comes to mind," and said, "Dorothy asked the Scarecrow, 'How can you talk without a brain?' Then the Scarecrow replied, 'Don't humans babble thoughtlessly as well?' I think those who recall former professor Jin's past clarity are lamenting and feeling regretful for this reason."

Earlier, former professor Jin posted on his Facebook the previous day, "There were three times I was greatly taken aback by the president," and wrote, "The first was when he justified the violent behavior of fervent supporters during the presidential candidate debate as 'seasoning that enriches democracy,' the second was when I saw him write 'I'm sorry. Thank you.' to the children in the Sewol ferry guestbook, and the third was at the president's New Year's press conference earlier this year when he said, 'I owe a debt of gratitude to former Minister Cho Kuk.'"

Former professor Jin criticized, "The moment I heard those words, everything became clear. It was not just a problem around him but the president's own problem," and said, "Can we say that everything happening right before our eyes has nothing to do with the president? If so, then it only means the president is a Scarecrow."

In another post, he wrote about "the calligraphy of past presidents," saying, "Kim Young-sam: Daedo Mumun (大道無門), Kim Dae-jung: Sa-in Yeocheon (事人如天), Moon Jae-in: Naeronambul (乃路南弗)."
