On the 11th, a representative from About U's agency Corona X stated, "We filed a complaint with the police on the 3rd for defamation against Victor Han," adding, "We have submitted a petition to the court to prohibit Victor Han from appearing on broadcasts and engaging in entertainment activities."
According to Corona X, the band About U's activities have been completely halted due to Victor Han. Furthermore, the company has suffered significant material and psychological damages, and Victor Han, after leaving the team, engaged in unauthorized YouTube activities while still under contract with the company, damaging the reputation of company officials.
In particular, Corona X claims, "Victor pretended to be a victim by spreading false information on his YouTube channel, alleging that he was unfairly dismissed by the company." Additionally, they revealed a shocking incident: "Before appearing on a music broadcast, Victor noticed loose threads on his stage outfit and asked a female staff member to bring scissors. He then cut his wrist three times, showing blood. The female staff member was terrified, and the live broadcast was canceled."
On the other hand, Victor Han opened a personal YouTube channel on March 11 and expressed his grievances through a video titled "Practiced for 8 years and broke a stick, got fired from the company in 3 weeks." Victor Han clarified his position, saying, "I was banned from appearing on broadcasts not because of harming a person but because I broke a stick," and "The broadcasting station banned me on the grounds of expressing anger and violence."
Victor Han debuted as the drummer of the band About U in 2018 but left the team in March this year. On the 8th, he appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and revealed that he is of mixed heritage, born to a Korean mother and a Brazilian father.
