[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] As the United Future Party continues to fiercely criticize the Moon administration's real estate policies, the party's think tank, Yeouido Institute, and the Economic Innovation Committee under the Emergency Response Committee are also addressing real estate issues.
The United Future Party announced that it will hold the 3rd plenary meeting of the Economic Innovation Committee at 3 p.m. on the 8th in the National Assembly main building.
On this day, the Economic Innovation Committee plans to hold a briefing on real estate policies and conduct related discussions in a closed session.
The day before, the United Future Party held an urgent meeting diagnosing real estate policies, jointly hosted by its think tank, Yeouido Institute, and the party's Policy Committee. At the meeting, Kim Jong-in, chairman of the United Future Party's Emergency Response Committee, criticized the government's tax increase policy, pointing out that "although it is a measure that has been implemented for decades, it only resulted in price increases."
Floor leader Joo Ho-young also said, "Minister Kim Hyun-mi has absolutely no expertise," adding, "I had many concerns when she took office as minister, and as expected, those concerns have become reality." The United Future Party is currently preparing a motion to dismiss Minister Kim.
