Specialized Training Program Aligned with Workforce Demand of Leading 4th Industrial Revolution Companies
Asia Economy Education Center has been selected as a training institution for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's '4th Industrial Revolution Leading Workforce Training Project' and is offering specialized professional courses in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, recruiting trainees until July 13.
This training program was designed based on the analysis of a demand survey conducted with 354 domestic companies that have hiring needs in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The curriculum is technology-focused, reflecting the qualifications, job roles, and technical requirements of the recruited personnel. As cloud technology is essential across industries such as finance, construction, manufacturing, IT, and gaming?where technology development and platform utilization rely heavily on vast data?artificial intelligence (AI) technology is also gaining attention as a core area of the 4th Industrial Revolution, being applied in various fields such as autonomous driving, voice recognition, market forecasting, and office and process automation.
The training program is centered on practical technical education that can be immediately applied in the industrial field, with all courses conducted through unit projects and industry practice projects, ensuring excellent learning outcomes. Project deliverables are produced as digital convergence portfolios, which can be used as objective indicators of individual capabilities during practical interviews. Upon completion of the program, various employment support programs, including recommended hiring, are provided.
The recruitment quota is 25 trainees each for the artificial intelligence (776 hours) and cloud computing (700 hours) fields. Operated as a small elite group, individual guidance is provided to cultivate technical personnel needed by companies, aiming for 100% employment of all graduates through recommended hiring to companies with hiring demands or partner companies at the time of completion.
The director of Asia Economy Education Center stated, “This specialized training program in technology development fields with high growth potential in the 4th industrial sector will be a significant turning point for building careers in job fields requiring 4th industrial technologies.” He added, “Along with the overall youth employment difficulties, the demand for IT and software professionals is increasing sharply across all domestic and international industries. Last year, we achieved over 90% employment success, and we will do our best to successfully operate this training program focusing on education, employment, and follow-up management.”
This course is a government-funded free education program, providing a monthly training allowance of 116,000 KRW. If participating concurrently with the Employment Success Package, trainees can receive up to 400,000 KRW in training incentives. Additionally, various trainee benefits for employment are offered, including support for acquiring data-related certifications such as SQL, recommended hiring, and on-site interview matching at job fairs.
