Support for Eco-Friendly Agricultural Product Packages for Pregnant Women

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will provide 711 mothers who gave birth after January 1 this year and current pregnant women with eco-friendly agricultural, livestock products, and processed food packages worth 480,000 KRW.

Applications will begin at 10 a.m. on July 6, and support will be provided to eligible recipients until December 15 this year.

To place an order, applicants must submit proof documents such as a resident registration certificate on the Seoul Farmer Portal. The program will proceed on a first-come, first-served basis, and the number of recipients is limited by each autonomous district.

Purchases can be made up to twice a month, with each order ranging from 30,000 KRW to 60,000 KRW, and by paying 20% of the order amount, the package can be delivered to the desired location.

This support project is part of a pilot program selected through the National Participation Budget and was planned to provide healthy food to pregnant women while supporting local farms struggling due to COVID-19.

For more details, please check the Seongbuk-gu website (District News → District Guide).
