[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] On the 2nd, law firm Taepyungyang (Representative Attorney Kim Sung-jin) announced that it has recruited former Prosecutor General Kim Soo-nam.
Former Prosecutor General Kim graduated from the 16th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Daegu Cheonggu High School, Seoul National University Law School, and the same university's graduate school of law. After serving as a judge at Daegu District Court and a prosecutor at Seoul District Prosecutors' Office in 1987, he held various key positions in legal affairs and prosecution, including investigation and planning, for about 30 years until becoming Prosecutor General.
He served as Director of the Crime Prevention Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Justice, Chief Prosecutor of Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office, Chief Prosecutor of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, Chief Prosecutor of Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, and Prosecutor General, earning the nickname "Special Investigation Expert."
Taepyungyang stated that with the recruitment of former Prosecutor General Kim, it plans to further strengthen its capabilities in the criminal field.
