[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Human Resources Development Service of Korea announced on the 8th that it will compile the winning entries of the Youth Employment Academy participation review contest into a casebook and present it through its website (myjobacademy.kr).
This casebook was created by selecting outstanding cases from submissions by participants of the Youth Employment Academy project, sharing their job preparation processes and success stories. It will be released on the website and distributed in booklet form.
The eight selected works' submitters received the Human Resources Development Service of Korea Director's Award and a total prize money of 3 million won. The award ceremony was held online to practice social distancing.
The Youth Employment Academy provides training courses tailored to industrial field demands to enhance young people's employment capabilities. This year, 212 courses are being operated at 46 institutions nationwide.
Kim Dong-man, Director of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, said, "We expect this casebook to serve as a guide for young people preparing for employment," and added, "We ask for young people's interest and active participation in the Youth Employment Academy project."
