[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] “We prepared this with gratitude for the Yongsan-gu medical staff and employees who have been working tirelessly around the clock due to COVID-19.”
The Itaewon Merchants Association donated 200 lunchboxes to the Yongsan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Seung Man-ho) on the 14th.
This was to support the medical staff and employees at the Yongsan-gu screening clinic who are striving to overcome COVID-19.
The delivery ceremony took place in front of the district health center with about 10 people including Yoo Young-jun, Director of Resident Welfare Bureau, and Lee Sae-am, CEO of Naked Wings.
For this donation event, Naked Wings, Gino's Pizza, Baoba, Motor City, Manimals Smokehouse, Fill Up Coffee, Haritos, and I'm Alive prepared the lunchboxes.
The Itaewon Merchants Association is a fellowship group of eight businesses operating restaurants in Itaewon. Lee Sae-am, CEO of Naked Wings, is also a member of the district youth policy advisory group's startup division.
Seong Jang-hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, "Despite many difficulties in running businesses due to COVID-19, I sincerely thank the Itaewon Merchants Association for visiting the district and giving special support."
The foundation delivered the donated lunchboxes to the district screening clinic and Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital.
