Regarding the Judgment on the Moon Jae-in Administration, "The United Future Party Was Much More at Fault"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 30th, Park Ji-won, a member of the Minsaeng Party, criticized Kim Jong-in, the General Election Committee Chairman of the Future United Party, who claimed, "I can't live like this. Let's change! This is the public sentiment," saying, "He used to be very close to me like a sworn brother and I respected him, but seeing what he is doing now, it seems he has lost his mind."
On the same day, on KBS Radio's "Kim Kyung-rae's Strongest Current Affairs," Rep. Park said, "It's understandable to say we can't live because of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), but where are we supposed to change? We should change COVID-19," adding, "(Kim's role) is like a storm in a teacup and will have little influence."
Regarding Hwang Kyo-ahn, the leader of the Future United Party, stating that the current medical system was established by former President Park Chung-hee, Rep. Park retorted, "If we trace everything like that, it all started from the era of Dangun," and said, "Everything has developed starting from former President Park, but the only person regressing seems to be Leader Hwang."
Rep. Park pointed out, "Every election involves both government judgment and opposition judgment. It is natural for the Korean Party to raise the issue of judging the Moon Jae-in government, but did the opposition do well? Did Leader Hwang do well?" and added, "If you think from this point, the Future United Party is much more at fault."
Rep. Park stated, "In the COVID-19 situation, the people should unite and focus on eradication and cooperate so the government can do its job, but they are constantly obstructing every effort," and said, "Conservatives always align with the United States, but then, is President Trump doing the best in the world at eradicating COVID-19? They need to think about that before speaking."
