On the 26th (local time), according to local media, a 4-year-old girl in Lombardy, northern Italy, was infected with COVID-19. She is currently hospitalized near Milan and is receiving treatment. It is reported that her condition is not serious.
In Lombardy, several minors have been infected, including two 10-year-olds and one 15-year-old. Their health conditions are also reported to be relatively good.
In Italy, the number of deaths from COVID-19 has been counted at 11, and the total number of confirmed cases is 325. By region, Lombardy has the highest number with 240 cases, followed by Veneto with 45 and Emilia-Romagna with 26. Piedmont, Lazio, and Sicily each have 3 cases; Liguria and Tuscany each have 2 cases; and Trentino-Alto Adige has 1 case.
