[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Naver will implement a remote work system for all employees starting from the 26th to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This measure will be in effect until the 28th, and only essential personnel will be allowed to come to the Bundang office.
On the 24th, Naver formed a company-wide task force (TF) to devise countermeasures against COVID-19. Pregnant employees, those with underlying conditions (chronic diseases), and employees caring for infants or elderly parents have already been permitted to work from home in advance.
Additionally, the company temporarily closed external access areas within the Bundang office and undertook emergency measures such as disinfecting employee workspaces.
