Since 2004, the annual Study Know-how Contest has encouraged self-directed learning among middle and high school students and provided a platform to share study techniques. Outstanding essays are published on the Sinsago website, offering detailed accounts of how peers and seniors overcame weak subjects and improved their grades through effective study habits.
Jang Jeong-hwa, Head of Marketing at Joheunchaek Sinsago, explained, "Everyone encounters limits and discovers weaknesses while studying, but stories written by peers and seniors who did not give up, found their own study methods, improved their grades, or succeeded in college admissions resonate with students."
This contest is divided into categories such as ▲subject-specific study methods ▲university admission strategies for early and regular admissions ▲tips for managing daily habits ▲items to improve study efficiency, allowing students to choose topics that suit them best.
Any middle or high school student or prospective university student who has studied with Joheunchaek Sinsago books can participate. Essays and photos of study materials should be submitted on the website, and additional points are awarded if proof of improved grades is attached. Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding essays: 500,000 KRW for the grand prize (1 person), 200,000 KRW for excellence awards (2 people), and 100,000 KRW for encouragement awards (7 people). All participants will receive either a Sinsago book coupon or a cultural gift certificate as a gift.
