PSY Grabs an Amazing 9th Trophy on “Music Bank”

PSY has achieved a jaw-dropping record for topping KBS' music show for nine non-consecutive weeks.

"Gangnam Style," one of the biggest pop sensations this year, was again crowned the song of the week during the fourth week of October on KBS “Music Bank,” edging out male solo K.Will.

The record maker, who covered the latest edition of Billboard magazine, grabbed its first win on August 16 and has been securing the top seed except twice, when losing the trophy to girl group KARA.

The 36-year-old singer has been promoting his smashing-hit tune around the globe and now plans to open his exclusive concert tour in the near future, the popular “oppa” wrote on his official Twitter last Saturday.

Meanwhile, last week’s music show also featured K-pop artists including TVXQ!, Gain, miss A, Hyuna, Ailee, Jewelry, Orange Caramel, B.A.P, Block B, BTOB, 100% and A.O.A.
