PSY Nabs 8th Win on KBS “Music Bank”

International sensation PSY has hustled his way to the eighth victory on KBS’ music show.

The rapper's “Gangnam Style" was chosen the song of the week on KBS’ “Music Bank” last Friday, easily holding off Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain’s “Bloom.”

However, the PSY, who may be the busiest singer in the world this year, could not attend the show due to his overseas promotion re-launched earlier last week.

Meanwhile, the music video for “Gangnam Style,” which was uploaded on PSY’s official YouTube channel on July 15 and helped him go viral internationally, attracted a whopping number of over 500 million views as of Monday morning. This makes his music video the third most-watched clip of all time on the website.

Other notable artists who graced the stage that evening are TVXQ!, Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain, miss A, Jewelry, FTIsland, A.O.A, Seo In-young and K.will.
