4minute member Hyuna’s new solo single has been censored by Korea’s major broadcasting companies.
A PR rep from her agency Cube Entertainment told the magazine over the phone Thursday that KBS and MBC have decided to block the airing of “Very Hot,” Hyuna’s first self-composed song listed in the upcoming solo second mini-album.
The news came a few days before the release of her album “Melting,” October 22, and the boards' decision reportedly came due to the lyrics mentioning the specific name of a Korean social networking software, "Kakao Talk."
With the news spreading fast, the official explained Hyuna has yet to determine whether she will edit the lyrics to lift the ban.
On Wednesday, the fashionista revealed another batch of teaser photos for the upcoming album. She will officially embark on activities for "Melting" next week by performing on televised music programs.
