K-pop sensation PSY scored another win with his latest dance tune on Mnet’s music show.
With the new show's new host Lee Hong-gi of FTIsland, PSY grabbed the trophy on "M!CountDown" for the second straight week with his dance-flavored beat “Gangnam Style.”
His mega-hit dance tune, the title single off the sixth studio album "Six Rules, Part. 1," beat off KARA's "PANDORA" even without PSY's attendance on last night's live show.
Meanwhile, Lee, FTIsland's lead vocalist excited the audience by putting on a special stage for his emceeing debut of the program. He first sang an acoustic version of songstress BoA's hit track "No. 1" and a hip-hop version of TVXQ!'s "Mirotic."
Then he had a performance of singing a rock version of crooner Shin Seung-hoon's "I Believe," with new girl group and his labelmate AOA.
After "Gangnam Style" music has gone viral internationally in August, PSY gained the nickname "The second Macarena" with his popular horse riding dance and funny lyrics.
The clip has reached over a whopping number of 77 million views, which is over twice as much as Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me," as of Friday morning.
Meanwhile, last Friday’s show also featured other performances by Super Junior, ZE:A, KARA, B.A.P, AOA, TASTY and VIXX.
