PSY, who is well-known for his comic 'horse riding dance' in "Gangnam Style," has enjoyed himself boogieing atop KBS’ music show for two consecutive weeks.
His latest dance tune “Gangnam Style" was chosen as the song of the week last Friday on KBS' "Music Bank" after edging out SISTAR’s summer tune “Loving U” with a pretty big gap.
Though the artist has never not been in attendance to perform on "Music Bank" after releasing "Six Rules, Part. 1" on July 15, he proved himself an international sensation with the prize.
PSY has dominated several music charts here with “Gangnam Style” and sat at No. 9 on Billboard's Social 50 Music Chart, pushing "Rolling Down the Deep" singer Adele down to No. 10
The music video for “Gangnam Style” is what has made a major contribution to PSY's fame, and the clip posted on PSY’s official YouTube channel has reached over 60 million views as of Monday morning.
Meanwhile, last Friday’s "Music Bank" episode also featured performances by BoA, KARA, BEAST, Teen Top, VIXX and AOA.
