Actor Song Joong-ki, actresses Moon Chae-won and Park Si-yeon have been spotted at the first script reading session for their new TV series.
On Thursday, Song’s agency Sidus HQ unveiled photos of the cast of "Chakan Namja," (in Romanized Korean) in attendance for practicing their lines in Seoul last week.
"Chakan Namja," which is translated into 'Good-hearted Man,' is a melodrama following the story of Kang Ma-roo (played by Song), who gave up everything to save the love of his life.
The story will begin by Kang taking advantage of Seo Eun-ki (played by Moon), after being dumped by Han Jae-hee (played by Park).
Kang's ill manner came from his wish to take revenge on his old lover, Han Jae-hee (Park), who had dumped Kang to focus on her career.
Korean actor Lee Kwang-soo will co-star alongside the main characters by playing the role of Park Jae-gil, who is the best friend of Kang.
"Chakan Namja," written by scenarist Lee Kyung-hee of "I'm Sorry, I Love You" (KBS, 2004), will hit the airwaves in September, as the follow up to the current action series “Gaksital.”
Meanwhile, the "SungKyunKwan Scandal" heartthrob has been on the road for a round of meet-and-greets titled "Song Joong Ki Asia Fan Meeting Tour - THRILL & LOVE," since April. The event will be held in six countries in Asia and wrap up the large-scale show in Korea on July 22.
