Korean songstress IU is scheduled to kick off her nationwide tour in Korea this June, according to her agency Loen Entertainment on Friday.
Her tour, "REAL FANTASY," will take off at Kyunghee University's Peace Palace in Seoul on June 2 and 3, and will continue to perform in Ulsan, Jeonju, Suwon, Busan and Daegu in order.
"The shows will make the audience feel like they're somewhere in between reality and fantasy, just like the title of her tour 'REAL FANTASY,'" the officials noted.
The rep also added that IU has been actively taking part in preparing for the concert by pitching her own ideas.
IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, made her debut with her first mini-album "Lost and Found" in September 2008. She has since produced a number of hit songs such as "Boo," "Marshmallow" and "Nagging," a duet with 2AM member Seulong.
The artist recently made her debut into Japan with her single "Good Day" and will soon hold several shows in the country starting April 21.
