Korean rock bands FTIsland and CNBLUE will hold their first ever joint concert in Los Angeles in March, according to the concert's promoter CJ E&M on Friday.
CJ E&M announced in a press release that FTIsland and CNBLUE's concert titled "FTISLAND & CNBLUE 'STAND UP' by M Live" will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on March 9.
A number of major international artists such as the Eagles, Duran Duran, Lady GaGa and Kelly Clarkson have performed at the Nokia Theater.
"We hope that the groups' upcoming concert will pave the way for various other ventures overseas," an official with FTIsland and CNBLUE's agency FNC Music was quoted as saying.
Composed of members Lee Hong-ki, Song Seung-hyun, Choi Min-han, Lee Jea-jin and Choi Jong-hoon, FTIsland is currently gearing up to make their comeback to the local music scene with their fourth mini-album "GROWN-UP."
CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been focusing on their activities in Japan and overseas. They are currently on their Asia tour and preparing for the release of their new Japanese single "Where You Are."
