Boy group BEAST have announced that they will release their first full-length album in Japan on August 10, said their agency Cube Entertainment on Thursday.
The news came yesterday, on the second day of BEAST's two-day live mini-concert titled “BEAST NIGHT” at the Studio Coast in Tokyo which was held in order to celebrate the group’s release of their second Japanese single “BAD GIRL” which went on sale on June 15.
Some 30 media outlets were also present at the event participated by some 4,000 local fans who were invited among the purchasers of “BAD GIRL.”
During the fan meeting session, BEAST's members also discussed on some questions they received from fans and selected ten fans from the audience to whom they presented their posters with autographs.
The statement went onto state that some fans were from cities such as Osaka and Nagoya and included male fans in their 30s and 40s.
Meanwhile, BEAST’s latest Japanese single “BAD GIRL” has topped the weekly sales chart of Japan’s biggest record retailer Tower Records for the week of June 13 to 19 while BEAST also appeared in Fuji TV’s music variety program "HEY HEY HEY Music Champ” to promote their album.
BEAST, composed of Du-jun, Hyun-seung, Yo-seop, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang and Jun-hyung, is known as one of the most popular boy bands in Korea since making their debut in 2009 with a number of hit songs under their belt including "SHOCK," "Soom" and "Beautiful."
In Korea, they recently finished promoting title tracks "Fiction" and "On Rainy Days" from their first full-length album "Fiction and Fact."
