BoA to release repackaged album on Sept 27

Korean songstress BoA will be releasing a repackaged version of her album "Hurricane Venus" on September 27, according to her agency SM Entertainment on Thursday.

SM announced in a press release that the repackaged album will feature the original six songs from "Hurricane Venus" as well as include two new songs.

The agency also released a teaser photo of the singer donning her new concept for the record.

BoA will begin promoting the new album starting September 24 through a performance on KBS' televised music program "Music Bank."

The 23-year-old singer recently celebrated the tenth year of her singing career -- she made her debut with album "ID; Peace B" in August 2000.

Known as one of the most active K-pop singers on the international music scene, BoA has released numerous albums in Japan and made her U.S debut in March 2009.

She returned to the local music scene in August with her sixth full-length release "Hurricane Venus" which topped various online and offline music charts for weeks.
