INFINITE triumphs on 'M! CountDown' with 'Paradise'

INFINITE on "M!CountDown" [Mnet]

Seven-member boy band INFINITE took home their first victory on cable music channel Mnet's "M!CountDown" last night. INFINITE were crowned the winners on the show with their latest title track "Paradise," from their first repackaged album, beating out last week's champ Huh Gak and girl group Brown Eyed Girls. "We want to thank everyone at our agency, especially the C.E.O. and our managers and stylists," INFINITE's youngest member Sung-jong said in their acceptance speech. "We also want to express our gratitude to INSPIRIT [name of INFINITE's fans] because this win wouldn't be possible without your support." INFINITE, composed of members Sung-kyu, Dong-woo, Woo-hyun, L, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong, made their debut in April 2010 and have since released several hit songs "Come Back Again," "Before the Dawn (BTD)," "She's Back," "Nothing's Over" and "Be Mine." The boys have made a successful comeback to the local music scene with "Paradise," taking their first win on SBS' "Inkigayo" last weekend and gearing up for the singing activities in Japan with their debut single next month. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
