Kim Tae-hee to grace cover of Japanese magazine for 1 year

Actress Kim Tae-hee has been chosen the cover model of a popular Japanese fashion magazine for a year, reported her agency Luah Entertainment on Tuesday. According to a press release by Luah, Kim has signed the contract with 25ans, making it the longest time for a Korean actress to grace the cover of a Japanese magazine.She has already started appearing on the cover of the publication, since March, and will do so up till the February edition of next year. Kim, 31, rose to fame after appearing in SBS TV series "Stairway to Heaven" (2003) alongside Hallyu stars Kwon Sang-woo and Choi Ji-woo.Since then she has played various small and big screen roles, starring in dramas including “Love Story in Harvard,” (SBS, 2004) and films “The Restless” (2006) “Venus and Mars” (2007) and “Grand Prix” (2010).She has been gaining further recognition in Japan and throughout Asia after starring in blockbuster series "IRIS" (KBS, 2009) alongside top Korean actor Lee Byung-hun and mostly recently, in drama "My Princess" (MBC, 2011) opposite co-star Song Seung-heon which ended its run in late February.Kim has been eyeing for a Japanese debut for some time, having recently signed contract with Sweet Power, one of the top talent agencies in Japan in February.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
