Korean idols ZE:A [Star Empire Entertainment]

Tickets for nine-member boy band ZE:A's first concert in Japan next month have sold out, according to their agency Star Empire Entertainment on Wednesday. The group's concert titled "ZE:A Premium Live in Japan," to be held twice on November 6 at the Blitz Hall located in Tokyo, sold out in 20 minutes of going on sale. "The members of ZE:A have busily been preparing their new repertoire of songs and performances for two months," an official from Star Empire was quoted as saying. The group had begun their activities in Japan after performing on music program "SEOUL TRAIN," which introduces K-pop artists to local fans, in early March. They signed with Japanese entertainment company IMX in July to manage their career in the country and placed at No. 3 on Oricon's daily singles chart on September 22 with their first Japanese album "ZE:A!" ZE:A, short for Children of the Empire, made their debut in January with their mini-album "Nativity" and followed it up with "Leap for Detonation" and "Level Up." They have visited various Asia countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, to promote themselves and their songs. The boys will be visiting Japan this Friday to take the stage for "Kpop night in Japan," hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency.
