Sharing Last Year's Legislative Achievements and Vision

Heo Sungmu, a National Assembly member from the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Seongsan District, Changwon, and a member of the Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs, and Startups Committee), will hold a legislative report session at Building 9 of Changwon Munseong University at 2 p.m. on January 24.

Assemblyman Heo Sungmu to Hold "Seongsan on the Rise Again" Legislative Report Session

This legislative report session, held under the slogan "Seongsan on the Rise Again! Together with Heo Sungmu!", is designed for Assemblyman Heo to directly report his achievements over the past year to local residents and to share his vision for the future development of Seongsan District.

At the event, Assemblyman Heo will explain the results of his legislative activities from last year and the projects he has promoted for the development of Seongsan District. He will also report to residents on the progress of each key project and the status of budget allocations.

In addition, Assemblyman Heo plans to thoroughly review and introduce to residents the key issues to be addressed this year, including the promotion of the Dongdaegu-Changwon high-speed rail, improvements to intake and pumping station facilities on the Four Major Rivers, urging the designation of Changwon as a national advanced strategic industry specialized complex, and the creation of a Changwon-style Central Park.

The legislative report session will proceed in the following order: opening remarks and commemorative photo, a video presentation of legislative activities, a legislative report explained by Heo Sungmu, a Seongsan numbers quiz, and a discussion using post-it notes. Any resident of Seongsan can participate without prior registration.

Notably, Assemblyman Heo intends to break away from the conventional one-way communication format of legislative report sessions by introducing unique participatory elements such as the "Seongsan Quiz by Numbers" and "Communicating with Heo Sungmu via Post-it Notes," allowing residents to be directly involved in the event. Reflecting his commitment to on-site leadership and communication, Heo aims to listen to residents' voices firsthand and incorporate their feedback into policy.

Assemblyman Heo stated, "This legislative report session is not just about reporting, but a valuable opportunity to communicate with residents and envision a hopeful future for Changwon and Seongsan together," adding, "I will always do my utmost for the development of Changwon and Seongsan."
