Solta Medical Korea Ltd. (CEO Han Sangjin, hereafter Solta Medical Korea), a company specializing in dermatological and aesthetic medicine, announced that it will hold a large-scale drone show at the Yeouido Marina Pier in Seoul on October 17 to celebrate the achievement of 5 million Thermage® procedures worldwide.

Thermage is a non-invasive solution that stimulates collagen production in the skin using monopolar radiofrequency energy. Since its launch in 2002, it has been widely embraced around the world for 23 years. In Korea, after its initial introduction in 2003, it has continued to grow steadily, surpassing a cumulative installation of 1,000 devices as of the first half of 2025. It has established itself as a leading radiofrequency treatment device in the country, spearheading the aesthetic medicine market.

The upcoming drone show will deploy over 700 drones to create images in the night sky, including the Thermage tip, its proprietary AccuREP™ technology, the brand logo, and congratulatory messages. The event is expected to visually showcase Thermage’s global influence and technological excellence, while serving as a special celebration for consumers to commemorate this achievement together. The drone show will begin at 8:00 PM and is open to the public.

Meanwhile, Solta Medical Korea is hosting a pre-registration event for visitors to the drone show. One hundred pre-registered participants will be randomly selected to join on-site experience programs and receive limited edition Thermage merchandise. Winners will also enjoy a variety of interactive games before the drone show begins, such as guessing the start time, claw machine games, and photo booths, along with refreshments and beverages, offering a rich array of attractions and entertainment.

Anyone can easily apply for pre-registration through content posted on the official Solta Medical Korea and Thermage websites, official Instagram, and official LinkedIn accounts. Pre-registration is also available via text message notifications sent to official KakaoTalk channel subscribers and customers who have certified genuine products. The pre-registration deadline is 5:00 PM on October 12, and further details can be found in the announcements on each channel.
