According to SpursWeb on June 12, MatchWornShirt reported that the winning bid for Son Heungmin's UEL uniform was the third highest amount ever on the site. Two of Lionel Messi's uniforms fetched higher prices than Son Heungmin's. The winning bids for Messi's uniforms were 49,400 pounds and 44,500 pounds, respectively.

MatchWornShirt also revealed that the person who won the auction for Son Heungmin's uniform is Korean.

The uniform in question is Tottenham's white home kit and is said to bear Son Heungmin's autograph. However, it was not worn by Son Heungmin during the match; instead, it was prepared as a spare in case the original uniform was torn during the game.
