The uniform of Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heungmin (33), which was prepared for the UEFA Europa League (UEL) final, was sold at auction for 41,221 pounds (approximately 77 million won).

According to British media outlet SpursWeb on the 11th (local time), Son Heungmin's uniform, which was prepared for the Europa League final, was sold through the auction site MatchWornShirt.
This uniform was purchased by a Korean Tottenham fan for 41,221 pounds and features Son Heungmin's autograph.
The auctioned uniform is an "issued" shirt that was prepared last month for the Europa League final. This is a spare uniform prepared in advance in case the original is damaged during the match.
The auction started with an initial bid of 89 euros (approximately 140,000 won), and fans from various countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand, and Hong Kong, competed to win the item.
This transaction marks the third-highest amount in the history of the auction site. Previously, Lionel Messi's uniforms were sold for 49,400 pounds (approximately 92 million won) and 44,500 pounds (approximately 82 million won), respectively.
Led by Son Heungmin, Tottenham defeated Manchester United (England) 1-0 in the 2024-2025 Europa League final held at San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, Spain, on May 22, securing the championship. This was Tottenham's first title in 17 years since the 2008 League Cup, and it was also Son Heungmin's first championship trophy in 15 years since his professional debut.
After coming on as a substitute, Son Heungmin was the first to lift the trophy as captain, leading Tottenham's championship celebration after the match.
