According to Nikkan Sports on June 10, the dress Princess Kako wore during her official visit to Brazil has sparked explosive interest online, prompting the brand that produced the dress to launch an "emergency resale."
On June 8, Princess Kako attended an official event in Brazil wearing a white dress embroidered with camellia flowers. As soon as photos of her in the vibrant dress were released, local social networking services (SNS) were flooded with inquiries about the dress. The post containing information about the dress quickly surpassed 680,000 views on X (X, formerly Twitter), demonstrating the immense attention it received.
The dress is a product of the Japanese fashion brand Viaggio Blu and was originally released in November 2024. It is priced at 59,400 yen (approximately 562,000 won). Although the dress had already sold out, the brand decided to produce additional stock after being inundated with inquiries following Princess Kako's appearance. On the same day, the brand announced on its official Instagram account that it had begun taking pre-orders for the "Camellia Print Dress" worn by Princess Kako.

Previously, last year, an outfit Princess Kako wore during her official visit to Greece also sold out. At that time, she wore a dark blue short-sleeved knit top and white wide pants, which were said to evoke the Greek flag. The knit top is a product of the Japanese brand Pierrot and is priced at 2,990 yen (approximately 26,000 won). It is said that Princess Kako frequently wears products from this brand in her daily life.
Princess Kako is the second daughter of Crown Prince Fumihito Akishino, Emperor Naruhito's younger brother, and enjoys widespread popularity within the Japanese imperial family. Her calm and neat appearance, paired with her modern sense of style, has earned her the nickname "Ulzzang Princess" in Japan.
