Hansung Cleantech, a company specializing in industrial water treatment and ultrapure water EPC, announced on June 12, 2025, that it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from SK hynix for the 'Yongin Cluster Ph1 WWT System Mechanical Installation Project' contract.
This order consists of approximately 29.8 billion KRW from SK hynix and about 6.6 billion KRW from SK Ecoplant, totaling 36.4 billion KRW. This amount is equivalent to about 19.8% of the company's total sales from the previous year.
Hansung Cleantech has consistently been highlighted as a leading water treatment EPC company expected to benefit from the structural investment expansion in the semiconductor market, including the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster. Through this order, the company has secured a significant opportunity to expand its business in line with the government's 'Semiconductor Industry Support Plan.'
A company representative emphasized, "This large-scale order for the SK hynix Yongin Cluster is a case that proves Hansung Cleantech's technological capabilities and water treatment EPC expertise in the largest domestic semiconductor investment project."
The representative also stated, "We expect additional investments in the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster and further expansion of semiconductor manufacturing facilities both domestically and internationally. Accordingly, we plan to actively respond to the increasing demand for ultrapure water and water treatment EPC, and through this, we intend to solidify our position as a leading company in the semiconductor water treatment EPC market."
