On May 24, ten days ahead of the June 3 presidential election, Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, will pay a courtesy visit to former President Park Geunhye.
The People Power Party announced that at 7:30 p.m. on this day, candidate Kim will visit former President Park's private residence in Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu, to meet with her.
Earlier in the day, candidate Kim visited Guinsa Temple in Danyang, North Chungcheong Province, then proceeded to visit Yeongju, Andong, Sangju, and Gimcheon in North Gyeongsang Province in succession. He will also pay tribute at the birthplace of former President Park Chunghee in Gumi. After holding campaign rallies in Gumi and Chilgok, he plans to visit former President Park Geunhye's residence.
At campaign sites, Kim has continued to highlight the legacy of former President Park Chunghee, emphasizing the need to revive the economy with the "can-do spirit" associated with Park. His visit to former President Park Geunhye is also seen as an effort to consolidate support among conservative voters.
