Mona Yongpyong Signs MOU with Gangwon Tourism Organization to Boost Tourism for Visit Gangwon Years

Mona Yongpyong (CEO Lim Hakwoon) is set to promote tourism in Gangwon Province in collaboration with the Gangwon Tourism Organization in celebration of the "2025-2026 Visit Gangwon Years."


On April 22, Mona Yongpyong announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Gangwon Tourism Organization at the Mona Yongpyong Dragon Valley Hotel to boost tourism in Gangwon during the 2025-2026 Visit Gangwon Years.


Through this MOU, Mona Yongpyong and the Gangwon Tourism Organization have agreed to cooperate on the development and promotion of tourism resources in Gangwon. They plan to jointly develop specialized tourism products centered around Mona Yongpyong's facilities and conduct collaborative promotions. By sharing tourism data, they aim to establish a sustainable tourism business model based on eco-friendliness, thereby contributing to regional development.


In particular, Mona Yongpyong plans to leverage its strength as a year-round destination to lead efforts in spreading the appeal of Gangwon tourism. The company will not only provide customized tourism products for domestic and international visitors?including accommodation, leisure, and cultural experiences?but will also actively promote the "Visit Gangwon Years" through its online platforms and channels. By offering high-quality hotel and resort facilities and services, Mona Yongpyong aims to enhance visitor satisfaction during trips to Gangwon.


The Gangwon Tourism Organization will plan overall tourism campaigns and establish comprehensive promotional strategies, while also working to attract domestic and international tourists as well as MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events. Additionally, it plans to support campaigns and content development related to Gangwon's tourism resources and programs.


Lim Hakwoon, CEO of Mona Yongpyong, stated, "Through this MOU with the Gangwon Tourism Organization, we aim to go beyond simple tourism promotion and work together to create a sustainable tourism ecosystem, designing the future of Gangwon tourism from a long-term perspective.
