During this inspection, the city checked emergency shut-off devices and compliance with safety regulations to prevent major accidents caused by gas leaks, particularly focusing on accidents that could occur during the transfer of gas to storage tanks. The inspection also reviewed whether safety managers had completed legally required training and maintained training logs, whether workplaces had full-time staff, and the disaster response system in place.
A city official stated, "To reduce the possibility of accidents and prevent casualties, the capabilities of safety managers and the establishment of response systems are crucial," adding, "Through the inspection, we urged filling station owners and safety managers to pay special attention to preventing gas accidents."
