Improving the Creative Environment and Supporting Stable Artistic Activities
The Daejeon Cultural Foundation announced that it will implement the "2025 Artist Psychological and Legal Counseling Program" to improve the creative environment for local artists and support stable artistic activities.
For artists in need of psychological stability and emotional recovery, the foundation will provide tailored psychological assessments as well as individual, couple, and family counseling. Artists residing in Daejeon with valid proof of artistic activity can choose from three local counseling institutions. Individual counseling is available up to 12 sessions, and couple or family counseling up to 8 sessions. Applications can be submitted in person, by mail, or by email until November 7.
To help resolve legal issues that may arise during artistic activities, such as contract disputes or copyright conflicts, the program also offers consultations with experts including lawyers, patent attorneys, tax accountants, and labor consultants. Artists who reside in or have ties to Daejeon can receive up to three consultations per person. Applications can be submitted in person, by mail, or by email until November 28.
Baek Chunhee, CEO of the Daejeon Cultural Foundation, said, "We will spare no practical support so that artists can overcome psychological and legal difficulties and focus on their creative work," and added, "We hope many artists will benefit from these counseling services."
