Providing Insights into Emerging Science and Technology Development Trends, Market Trends, and Outlooks
The Busan Institute for Science and Technology Promotion (BISTEP) recently published the first issue of the "Science & Technology Brief," which provides information on emerging science and technology development trends, market trends and outlooks, and related policy developments.
The BISTEP Science & Technology Brief aims to identify major domestic and international issues and topics related to science and technology at the regional level, provide relevant information, enhance the understanding of science and technology among innovation entities in industry, academia, and research within the region, and serve as basic data for new business planning.
The first issue, published this year, focused on "Trends and Implications of CES 2025." It introduced an overview and current status of CES 2025, the world's largest technology exhibition held in Las Vegas last January, analyzed key trends, and derived implications. The core themes of CES 2025 were artificial intelligence, digital health, and future mobility. In particular, it was expected that the influence of AI technology would expand further, establishing itself as a core technology spreading and integrating into all technological fields.
Kim Young-bu, Director of BISTEP, said, "We hope this brief will help local companies understand the core technology development trends of advanced technologies and products and lay the foundation for overseas expansion."
Detailed information on the brief can be found on the BISTEP website.
