Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) will hold the 'Dongjak Christmas Concert' on the 25th of this month at the Hansungjik Memorial Hall of Soongsil University.
Hosted by the Dongjak Cultural Center, this concert will feature a variety of musical performances including pop music, classical, vocal music, popera, and carols, allowing residents of all ages to enjoy together.
Starting at 4:40 PM with a pre-performance by the 'Sangdo Silver Orchestra,' the event will showcase beautiful stages fitting for Christmas by the 2024 Nodle Song Festival Grand Prize, Gold Prize, and Silver Prize winners, a saxophone quartet, vocal and electronic violin ensembles, Donggwang Church Hallelujah Choir, Daddy Voice, and the Dongjak-gu Boys and Girls Choir in succession.
Invited singers such as Insooni and Sukhaeng will also take the stage. The concert will be free of charge for all 1,200 attendees, including members of the Dongjak Companion Network, multicultural families, and other vulnerable groups, with additional events such as souvenir giveaways following the performance.
Mayor Park Il-ha said, "I hope families, couples, and friends attend this concert to fully enjoy the Christmas atmosphere," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that all residents can have a happy year-end and New Year without any neighbors being left out."
