'BLACK&PINK IN Dobong AREA'... Dobong-gu Hosts Youth Festival 'Dobal'

"Dare to challenge boldly and develop infinitely"

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will hold 'Dobal,' Dobong-gu's representative youth festival, at Dobong-gu Office on October 28. Now in its 9th year, 'Dobal' is an abbreviation of "Dare to challenge boldly and develop infinitely," symbolizing the continuous growth of youth through new challenges.

Hosted by Dobong-gu and co-organized by the Youth Culture Planning Group 'Cheongyeon' and Changdong Youth Culture House, this festival's programs were directly planned by youth from the Dobong-gu area.

To prepare for the festival, 'Cheongyeon' conducted a preliminary needs survey in April targeting 394 youths. Based on the results, the festival concept was set as 'BLACK&PINK,' and the festival slogan was chosen as 'Own color, One us,' meaning "becoming one with one color."

The festival will be held in two parts, featuring an opening ceremony, booth operations, and various performance events. In the first part, starting with 'Cheongyeon’s' opening performance in the Dobong-gu Office lobby decorated with the BLACK&PINK concept, 15 diverse booths will operate, including ▲Experience ▲Exhibition & Campaign ▲Play & Games ▲50th Anniversary Event Booths.

The district expects that through participation in the booths, youth will be able to relieve stress from studies and regain vitality, even if only for a short time.

The second part will be composed of youth performances. Approximately 130 participants from 17 teams across 7 fields will showcase a variety of stages, including ▲Dance (Austin, Fox crew, Red Crew, Dajung, Passion, AISID, Creation, AQUS) ▲Band (Sonarus, Ob, Airdream, Daeil Band) ▲Cheerleading (Arpe) ▲Rap (Lyrics) ▲Vocal (WKH) ▲Magic ▲Hapkido (Red Eye).

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, "'Dobal' is a festival that provides creative and vibrant experiences for our local youth and demonstrates infinite possibilities to grow together with the community." He added, "Going forward, the district will continue to create many opportunities where youth can realize their dreams and passions."
