First Solo Album Pre-release Track 'Set Me Free Pt.2' Released
Group BTS member Jimin (28, Park Jimin) will pre-release "Set Me Free Pt.2" from his first solo album 'FACE'.
On the 17th, his agency Big Hit Music announced that Jimin will release "Set Me Free Pt.2," included in his solo album 'FACE,' on global music platforms at 1 PM (KST).
Jimin candidly expressed various emotions he experienced during the two-year COVID-19 pandemic in his solo album 'FACE.' Big Hit Music introduced "'FACE' as an album that fully confronts oneself and tells the story of preparing for a new beginning as artist Jimin."
"Set Me Free Pt.2" is a hip-hop track that conveys a resolute will to shake off inner feelings such as pain, sadness, and emptiness and move forward freely. With serious lyrics and melody complemented by Jimin's rap, the song offers diverse points of appreciation.
Along with the audio release of "Set Me Free Pt.2," Jimin will also unveil the music video. The video features a grand atmosphere with Jimin's dazzling and powerful performance.
Marking their 10th year since debut, BTS has been actively pursuing solo activities for its members since last year. Following J-Hope, Jin, and RM, Jimin is the fourth member to embark on solo activities.
Previously, Jimin showcased his musical skills through BTS albums with songs like "Lie," "Serendipity," and released the OST "With You" for the tvN drama 'Our Blues.'
Jimin's solo album 'FACE' will be released on the 24th.
