[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongseo University will hold the ‘Jeju Region BIG 5 Hotel & Resort Sector Job Fair’ over two days on the 27th and 28th.
The job fair will feature Jeju region’s leading companies including CJ Logistics Club Nine Bridge, SK Pinx, Ramjeong Jeju Development Co., Ltd., Hotel Lotte Lotte Resort, and Hotel Shilla Jeju.
On the 27th, recruitment briefings were held at two locations: Dongseo University’s main campus and Centum Campus. On the 28th, on-site interviews will take place at the main campus Student Plaza.
Through on-site interviews, approximately 40 interns will be selected across 12 job areas, and outstanding interns will be converted to full-time employees after the internship.
CJ Logistics Club Nine Bridge, Ramjeong Jeju Development Co., Ltd., and Hotel Shilla Jeju signed a D-Partners family company agreement and conducted IPP long-term field internships with Dongseo University in 2021, hiring outstanding interns as full-time employees.
This year, based on the event’s success, HR managers from five companies, including two additional companies, will visit Dongseo University directly to proactively recruit outstanding students.
Students who pre-registered for the job fair received special lectures on how to write self-introduction letters and one-on-one resume consulting at Dongseo University’s University Job Center to systematically prepare for on-site interviews.
Students selected through competition will participate in field internships for two months from July to August or six months from July to December, receiving a monthly internship allowance of about 2 million KRW, as well as support for dormitory and meal expenses.
Dongseo University plans to actively utilize the network of HR practitioners in industries centered on IPP-type work-learning dual system field internship companies and D-Partners family companies.
Furthermore, by holding ‘pinpoint’ job fairs by industry and job type, the university aims to minimize job seeker-employer mismatches and expand effective industry-academic cooperation for customized talent development and matching.
