Korean rock band FTIsland excited their fans and local music lovers at the group's concert held over the weekend by announcing the release date of a new album.
"Our new album titled 'FIVE TREASURE BOX' will hit stores on September 10," the members of FTIsland said during their concert "TAKE FTISLAND," which took place at Seoul's Olympic Hall on September 1 and 2.
FTIsland's frontman and leader singer Lee Hong-gi added, "'FIVE TREASURE BOX' is composed of ten tunes and all the members worked together on composing five tracks in the album. We hope to show a different color of our music through the release."
Adding more anticipation to their new album, FTIsland teased fans by partially revealing their new songs including the their title track "I Wish" [translated title], which the boys say is a "fun song with a twist."
FTIsland -- consisted of Lee Hong-gi, Choi Jong-hoon, Song Seung-hyun, Choi Min-hwan and Lee Jae-jin -- broke into the local music scene with their first full-length album "Cheerful Sensibility" in 2007.
The boys have been focusing on their activities in Japan and recently staged their concert "TAKE FTISLAND" in front of thousands of fans.
