Female songstress G.NA has postponed the release of her upcoming album, according to a press release from her agency Cube Entertainment on Tuesday.
Cube announced that the release date of G.NA's second mini-album, originally scheduled for August 16, has been pushed back by a week till August 23.
The press release stated that the reason for the delay is due to the additional footage that had to shot for G.NA's music video which includes the usage of 3D techniques.
"I was really looking forward in showing a different image through my new album and it is sad that it will be pushed back because of the music video shoot," G.NA was quoted as saying. "However, I will work hard to make up it to my fans that have been waiting for my return."
G.NA, whose real name is Choi Gina, made her official debut in 2010 with her single "Things I want to do When I Have a Lover" featuring Asian superstar Rain.
After following it up with her mini-album "Draw G's First Breath" in July last year, she released her first full-length album “Black&White” in January of this year which swept various online and offline music charts with its title track of the same name.
Most recently, her song titled “Because You’re My Man” (translated title) from the soundtrack to MBC TV series “The Greatest Love” fared well on music charts as well.
