Korean female idol 2NE1's first full-length album has topped a music chart in the Philippines.
"To Anyone," which was released in the Philippines on January 15, claimed the No. 1 spot while followed sequentially by their repackaged first mini-album on record retail store Astroplus/Astrovision's album chart for foreign artists during the third week of January.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 member Sandara posted a comment on her official me2day [Korea's version of Twitter] yesterday saying, "Good Morning! ^.^ Good morning to you all! I feel so great this morning! Our first album which went on sale in the Philippines on the 15th is currently No.1! Thank you so much for the support! ^_^ have a nice day!!!"
The girls have enjoyed success with their first album "To Anyone" in Korea as well, topping numerous online and offline music charts with their three title tracks "Go Away," "Clap Your Hands" and "Can't Nobody" since its release in early September last year.
Known as one of the most popular girl group in Korea, 2NE1 is currently preparing to expand their singing career into the music market in Japan next month and embark on a promotional tour in the country till March.
