Four-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift will hold her first-ever concert in Korea next year, part of her world tour celebrating the release of her third full-length album “Speak Now.”

On Thursday, the concert's promoter All Access announced in a press release that the 20-year-old singer-songwriter will visit the country for her concert titled “Taylor Swift Live in SEOUL” to be held at the Olympic Park Stadium on February 11 of next year.


Taylor Swift began her singing career in 2006 with the release of her debut single “Tim McGraw” and followed it up with her self-titled album, which became certified multi-platinum and won her a nomination for Best New Artist at the 50th Grammy Awards.

The songstress returned with her second album “Fearless” in November 2008 which earned her four Grammy Awards and was named artist of the year by the famed Billboard Magazine the following year. She recently released her third album “Speak Now” which went on sale in Korea on October 26.


Swift has also pursued an acting career after debut in a music video for country singer Brad Paisley. She has made several special appearances on primetime television shows and kicked off her career on the big screen this year with a role in the romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day.”


Tickets for Taylor Swift's concert will be available starting November 3 at online reservation site Interpark (www.interpark.co.kr).
