K-pop artists to take part in concert in Japan next month

Several of the biggest acts in the Korean music scene will take part in the concert “K-POP ALL STAR Live in Niigata” in Japan next month. The official poster for the event showed that Girls' Generation, KARA, 2PM, BEAST, 4minute, 2AM, INFINITE, Teen Top, CNBLUE, SISTAR, Secret and Norazo will perform at the Tohoku Electric Big Swan Stadium in Niigata of Japan on August 20. A portion of the proceeds from the concert will aid those that were affected by the earthquake that occurred in the country in March. Girls’ Generation, composed of members Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Jessica, Seohyun, Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung, is currently preparing for their second concert in Korea titled "2011 GIRLS' GENERATION TOUR" on July 23 and 24. KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market. They are preparing for their fan meeting in Japan on August 6. 2PM is known as one of the most popular boy bands in Korea and several other countries in Asia since their debut in 2008. The boys recently wrapped up their promotional events for song "Hands Up" and will focus on their activities in Japan with the release of their second Japanese single "I'm your man." BEAST have promoted title tracks "Fiction" and "On Rainy Days" from their first full-length album "Fiction and Fact" before kicking off their Asia tour. Composed of Hyun-a, Ji-hyun, Ji-yoon, Ga-yoon and So-hyun, 4minute made their debut in 2009. The girls recently promoted "Heart To Heart" and "Mirror Mirror" from their album "4Minutes Left." Trained and discovered by major talenthouse JYP Entertainment, 2AM released their debut single "This Song" in July 2008. The boys have been busy with their Asia tour where they visited several countries in Asia to promote their album and themselves. INFINITE -- composed of members Sung-kyu, Hoya, Woo-hyun, Dong-woo, Sung-yeol, Sung-jong and L -- have returned to the music scene with their first full-length album "OVER THE TOP" and have been busy promoting title track "Be Mine." TEEN TOP, composed of members C.A.P, Niel, Ricky, L.Joe, Changjo and Chunji, released their new album "Roman" and will begin promoting title track "Don't Spray Perfume." CNBLUE, composed of members Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jung-shin and Lee Jong-hyun, made their debut in Korea early last with their hit single "Alone." They are preparing for their concert in Korea which will take place in September along with their Asia tour. SISTAR, composed of other members Soyou and Dasom, released their debut single "Push Push" in June last year. The girls have been focusing on individual activities as well as making a number of appearances on variety shows. Secret, composed of members, Jun Hyo-seong, Han Sun-hwa, Song Ji-eun and Zinger, debuted in October 2009 with their digital single, “I Want You Back."
